Judging by the demo, a trainer will be needed, although i did say that about DA:O but completed it without the trainer.

Hahaha, true! The pc cheat console works for the demo, but if you use cheats, you won't get some freeie item from EA. You must have an account. It is the same console as DAO. There is a thread for it somewhere on these boards.
