think i'll just but the regular edition then, and maybe i can buy the extras on ebay, replicant plasma gun looks kinda cool, wouldn't mind adding that to my collection.

Well the game's out now. Installing now.

Wondering when and if any cheats will be released, as I haven't had a chance to look at the copyright protection thats on it yet. That seems to always cause the most problems.

Until then, I expect alot of dying on my part.

Aaaand Trainer is up. Huh, says it's for the STEAM(Retail) version... I got the retail version, and it ain't through Steam for me. No matter, testing.

i'm gonna wait a bit, i wanna play on my new rig which i'm still waiting on parts for.

Huh. Well, Trainer doesn't work with the Retail version. Rats.

On a separate note, am I the only one who can't seem to play the multiplayer? Every time I try to join a match, Dead Space 2 crashes. Pretty sure I have all my firewalls permitting it. I'll post if I get it working, but until then, any help is appreciated!

EDIT: Well, it's fixed now. Not sure what did it, but I'm guessing it had something to do with the Rivet Gun shown as an equipment option in the Character Setup menu. It's gone now, and I'm pretty sure yer not supposed to have it in Multiplayer. Bah, it pretty much sucks anyhow, so no REAL loss. Of course, I may just not know how to use it... Anyway, eagerly anticipating a Trainer for the Disc-Based Retail version of the game!

same here, hoping for a working trainer for the disc based retail version i mean, i never even finished the first game, i left off at the beginning of whatever level it is you get chased around the level by the invincible necromorph, hunter i think it was called.
