Ok, when I try to connect to a server a little box pops up and says that I'm banned? I mean what the f***? I never used cheats!

well you probally used hax then did you cheat on any other game that uses the source engine bans carry over from source games.

No, I've only played Counter Strike: Source.

Maybe you must have cheated in any other STEAM game - Need not necessary be a Source game.

It's actually VAC supported games so it doesn't even need to be valve.

yes but they almost always ban based on game engine.. ex. css would mean all source... half life one would be all the gold source... and killing floor would be all the ut2004 engine games

There have been reports of people banned of MW2 being banned in source games whether tat is them being banned individually on both is another thing.

If it's a VAC ban, it may have been from another game.
