I see, the Reaper.
Well, If I were you, I'd stay calm, look at its chest 'cause sometimes a bulb will appear! it's its greatest weakness! A shot will stun it and some bulb will appear on each of its shoulders. shoot them quickly and the reaper will expose its chest bulb for a few moments, now get heavy shot at it and its done. If it gets close and the bulb has already covered, turn and run far away. repeat the process.
the alternative way is a heavy shot its chest bulb while it's approaching, this will kill it outright but you've got to stay focus and the reaper will often make some kind of gas to deform the environment around. you must be very lucky to manage to kill it while it's spreading gas.
the easiest way: of course, use a rocket launcher.
Dont ever let it get close. you'll regret it.

I can't remember the ****roaches being so hard.
I used a machine gun and like mentioned earlier,
you need to shoot at the white spots.
If you can use a rocket launcher already, it takes 1 shot to kill them.

And for the infinite ammo part, when you upgraded everything form your weapon to max, you can buy it with points. And for rocket launcher you need to finish the game in under 5 hours.
Then you can toggle which ones you want on when you start a new campaign with infinite ammo on.

machine guns are not really good with these reapers 'cause of its inaccuracy. machine guns can actually kill a reaper though but it'll be difficult if the reaper spreads gas.
using a rocket launcher is no fun at all. normally I would avoid using rocket unless there's no choice left.
As mentioned before, a well-placed and heavy shot right at its chest bulb will kill it outright. i would recommended a magnum. this strategy will be very useful in mercernary. slowly kill the reaper will screw the combo chain, u know!

Magnums and a decent shotgun will do the work. I didn't have much difficulty with the reapers. I blew them away with an M3 that wasn't even fully upgraded.

im not that good with machine guns i like shotguns. so after i upgrade all my guns i can buy it? where

a magnum i dont usely use those but ill have to try. as for the combo chain i dont realy care about those

i did not try that but i will. ok so a magnum and the m3 got it

I enjoy the shotgun most.

Magnums are seriously mindblowing. They are the best in my opinion. Though ammo is very scarce.

careful! the M3 is a little bit tricky to use! Aim a little lower than your target to maximize the damage.
About combo chain, it may be the very reason why you have to rush to kill in mercenary mod, it'll make the game exciting. 'sides, it'll help you get a SS rank in the end, which yield 5000 points. combine well-aimed shots at critical points with melee attacks and see how RE5 professional veteran you are!
