Dead Rising 2 Discussion
Trainer Tools and Resources
I have an i5 Processor, Same GFX Card, and 4 GB RAM with Windows 7. There are some slight hiccups, as the engine for the game was not optimized very well. I got about 40 FPS when there was either a lot happening on screen or there were a lot of zombies, and I got around 60 FPS when there wasn't much going on and there weren't too many zombies around. Loading is improved, but only by a few seconds. Most cutscenes don't even have to have a load screen like the console version, it just fades to black then the cutscene rolls about a 2 seconds after. But yeah, blame the framerate drops on the game engine, I run every other game I own maxed and i never dip below 45 FPS, most the time I'm at 60 or higher.
The only problem I've found so far is the controls... they're a little sluggish sometimes, and can get annoying in certain places. The lack of customisable keys is also a little annoying, but not game breaking.
Ok enough, I don't need any further convincing time to head to STEAM and buy the game.
Also any fans of SUPREME COMMANDER 2 might want to check out some new DLC (Infinite War Battle Pack 1) finally. For $10 it packs quite a punch, new maps, new units (for all three factions) even experimentals like the return of the Cybran Monkey Lord - one of my faves from the first game as well as new tech tree enhancements. There is no new campaign material but all the new DLC can be used in skirmish and multiplayer. This is also the first of hopefully many DLC packs for the game. The best part is the latest CH trainer works with the DLC.
Thanks for the heads up on the DLC for Supreme 2. I saw this was out and curious if the trainer works. Glad to see it is worth the 10$.
Let us know what kind of frames you get with Dead Rising 2. We have similar specs and the lowest I am getting with everything maxed is mid 30's.
