Not necessarily. There's a wide variety of possible scenarios that would ultimately kill us all. Nuclear War is just one of many, which would only result from a pretty big war. I doubt we're going to be throwing nukes at each other anytime soon, so Cyborgs could easily be the first thing to kill us.

i'll pass on the military career thanks, and lest we forget there's always that live volcano under yellowstone park there just waiting to blow with an estimated 700 mile blast radius, or something to that effect.
