This thing is awesome. Link It's a 20 foot tall Sloth that's ready to kick some ass. This beast had long, sharp claws. In addition to being one of the few animals with a strong biceps, it used these claws like daggers. They weren't used for strength though, they were primarily used for speed. It's even been theorized that he used these skills to occasionally take a break from the tree leaves and hunt one of these B.A.'s Link He's about the size and weight of a Volkswagen Beetle. Can you imagine trying to fight one of these?

When I read the title I thought you meant Megatherum as in a huge theory or something.

I remember reading about that a couple of times! I think I still have the book lying around. *finds*
Man, they were too big to climb trees or anything so instead they just pulled down the branches. Its interesting seeing how creatures like the megatherium evolve into sloths today

I nkow a bit about Megatherium already, yeah, they are that best sloths ever, and in addition to all of that, apparently their bones acted as a sort of chainmail to stop predators from eating them, I think it was their bones it might have been something else, but it meant that they were pretty much unstoppable...
