MOVES LIST

This is a full list of a all of Gene's move that he will have available to him throughout the game.

Techniques

Break Guard = breaks a blocking enemy's blocking stance.
Charge Attack = move can be charged.
Dizzy Enemy = dizzies opponents in fewer hits than normal.
Heat Up = recovers TP.
Evade High Atk = move where Gene will duck a high attack.
Juggle Enemy = launches an enemy into the air allowing you to juggle him.
Launches Enemy = enemy will fly back after being hit.
Unblockable = cannot be blocked.

Moves listed with separate damage levels (4-4-5) means that particular move hits multiple times.

Extra Techniques

These techniques are always assigned to the following button commands no matter what you change. These will be some of your most useful moves in the first few stages and throughout the rest of the game.

Running Dash
Perform a dash by tapping forward twice on the Left Analog, then hold forward to make Gene run.

Jumping Overhead Kick
Tap Square during a running dash.

Jump Kick
Tap Triangle during a running dash.

Slide Kick
Tap X during a running dash.

Low Roundhouse Kick
Press the Right Analog Stick Up then press Triangle.

Heel Drop
Special:
Charge
Tap Up on the Left Analog then press Triangle while above a grounded enemy.

Launch Kick
Special:
Juggle
While an enemy is floating in the air from a Heel Drop press Triangle to him launch him into the air.

Laughing Dragon Punch
Special:
Juggle
After knocking an opponent high into the air, press Back on the Left Analog along with Triangle to make Gene perform a Dragon Uppercut.

Mid-Air Roundhouse Kick
Special:
Launcher
After knocking an opponent high into the air, press Forward on the Left Analog along with Triangle to have Gene jump into the air and roundhouse kick the enemy.

Roulette Moves

Launcher = launches the enemy into the air.
Long Range = can be done from a distance.
Man-To-Man = must be done close; only hits one opponent usually.
Recovery = recovers either TP or HP.
Splash = can hit several enemies; enemies can be juggled afterward.

One Orb Roulette Moves

Location: Default move

There's nothing like a well-placed kick to the groin to get the audience all stirred up! Gene swings around and kicks the enemy directly in his itty bits. This will cause the enemy to grab his private area and allow Gene to get in some extra hits while the enemy staggers. The first hit will knock the enemy out of his dizzy state during this particular stun.

Location: In Stage 2-4, rescue the girl after pulling the switch; in shop after Stage 2-7.

Gene's God Hand sucks the nearest enemy toward him from whatever distance they were at and Gene punches the enemy to stun him. This is an extremely useful move even when used later in the game.

Gene dashes straight through the enemies sending them up into the air while rolling. This will cause a display of lovely fireworks as well as take off a good bit of damage.

Gene jumps into the air and delivers several kicks in a row ending the sequence with a powerful kick to the head of his opponent. Gene also manages to strike a pose afterward.

Gene stands still while charging then bursts forward and rams the enemy.

Gene leans back and charges then surrounds himself with energy as he yells. This will charge his TP gauge by 20%.

Gene charges his hand with energy as he turns and launches an energy wave toward his opponent's head.

Gene jumps into the air and kicks his opponent with both feet, performs a cartwheel kick as his opponent floats in the air, then ends the combination with a well-placed straight punch.

Gene swings his God Hand around in a circle, attacking with each swing, as he steps toward the enemy then lets loose a powerful punch.

Gene charges his god hand then punches the ground, creating a shockwave-like explosion that sends the enemy into the air. Gene can juggle the enemy while they fall directly after this move.

Gene charges his hand with energy and holds his palm down toward his opponent's chest. As he closes his palm into a fist, his enemy flies back with incredible force.

Gene charges his god hand then swipes the air in front of him creating a wave of energy that hits the enemy from a distance. Sonic Boom? No, no...

Shinkuu Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku! In other words, Gene jumps into the air and performs a super hurricane kick.

Gene hits his opponent with rapid punches then steps forward and uppercuts the opponent into the air with his charged God Hand.

Gene jumps into the air and kicks the enemy with some powerful flying kicks then ends the combination with an extremely powerful kick.

Location: Give the poisoned guy the antidote in Stage 1-3; in the shop after Stage 1-6.

Gene charges a kick and kicks the enemy high into the sky. If the enemy is low in life, he will not come back down. Some say Gene's foes go to the Milky Way.

Location: Rescue the innocent man at the beginning of Stage 5-1; in shop after Stage 5-8.

Gene forms an energy bat in his God Hand then hits the nearest enemy with a Home Run swing. No strikes here.

Location: Acquired at the start of Stage 6-1

This is a more powerful version of Gene's La Bamba roulette attack. The explosion is bigger this time.

This is a more powerful version of the God Charge. Gene will boost his TP by 40% this time.

Have you seen Gene's fastball? Well this heavy hitter will have Gene readying a baseball as he chunks it toward an enemy from a distance with an incredible amount of force behind the throw.

Gene floats into the air and meditates in a yoga stance that causes him to regain 30% of his health.

Gene charges all of his power into his God Hand and unleashes an energy hand that heads straight toward his nearest foe.
