I hope you're not referring to me

Planb is someone who shouldn't have adopted, as much as I love him. Besides, "We've had much worse" is no real argument.

I don't see why not.
I have been here for more than a year and know the rules pretty well.

Also know how to behave properly in front of the community.

But you yourself are not close to being a model member. If anything, you need to spend time under adoption.

Honestly, I think a year is too short a time to suddenly be ready to train newbs.

I spent about 10 months with a parent, I think I qualify.

But were you a good parent?

Also, you said to me on Skype that you don't work with n00bs. Why this oh so sweet change of heart?

Because I figure it would benefit the site.

And how can I know if I'm a good parent if I have not been one?

Good point! Experience the odds, who knows maybe you're built for it.

Though not everyone offering to be a parent is experienced enough in my opinion. I think the account age should be 1 year not 6 months.

I think what she's trying to get across is that such standards are guidelines and not absolute.

I'm not implying that. And I'm not trying to argue. I'm just saying I think he's been around long enough to be given a chance to be a parent.
