Though not everyone offering to be a parent is experienced enough in my opinion. I think the account age should be 1 year not 6 months.
I think what she's trying to get across is that such standards are guidelines and not absolute.
True, I suppose it does apply differently to different people. But I think thats where Latios' discretion comes in, I don't think he'd let someone who was not fit to be a parent become one.
I would like to throw my name in as a parent to be. I also understand what your first hesitation may be. I seem to lurk for long periods of time. well me becoming a parent is the solution. If i were a parent i would be a lot more active. and everyone would see a lot more of me and my insanity. but then that might rub off on my adoptee......hmmmm well thats a risk I think we should take. and if I am not a worthy parent then perhaps someone would like to adopt me. I have been so lonly since darkish kicked me out of his house here. LOL
