NOTE: This is not an official CHU thing. There will not be any support from moderators or administrators from issues arising from this topic.
First off, yeah, this is a CHUNAA Update. The old system has needed some cleaning up for quite some time, so without further ado, here's the new system:
The CHU Member Refinement System is based around making a parent - child like relationship between new members and experienced members in order to help new members to become familiar with the CHU boards, CHU in general, be a better part of the community and make a quick friend.
If you wish to be adopted by another member please post that you would like to be adopted and/ or please place the following:
What style of games you like to play (RPG, FPS, racing etc): Console(s) you like/ use: Likes: Hates: Any other information:
Once you're successfully adopted you can ask your parent any general questions about CHU you wish, through the PM system. You should also place your parents username in your signature and address book.
The role of the parent: 1: Answer any question your child has about the boards (how to make a link on the boards, how to make a link in a signature, navigating CHU, ranks system etc)
2: Check up on your child occasionally (make sure they don't get in to trouble/ break the rules).
3: Take your kid to class! We'll be holding weekly "classes" in this thread, and the parent+child with the most points at the end of each semester wins the "valedictorian" award. (NOTE: Only children may answer questions, but parents can help through PM's, IM's, etc.)
If you would like to be a parent, please say so in this thread
Note:
"If you want to be a parent, you must:
-Have an in depth knowledge of the TOS -Be a responsible forum member -Have experience with the website's features and how to use them -Have basic HTML knowledge -Have an active account for the last 6 months."

This is a new program, we're trying to start fresh.
So basically, if you already have a child then that parent-child mentorship won't count towards this thread and you can't participate in classes and the like. Basically, we're trying to clean up the whole program and keep people focused with the classes instead of letting the whole system fall into disarray.
If you want to become a parent, say so in this thread, and if you're accepted as one, you can have your child request you as a parent. It's kind of a pain, but if it works then the system should flow a lot more smoothly.
