Hi Honestgamer what do you think about this. When the game came out I played with the trainer and everything was perfect. Now I have re installed several games and also Mass 1 and 2. Because of the release of Mass 3. I will play it like a year ago but the trainer will crash my gmae and I have tried everything. Playing as admin and all what you suggest in your topic. I don't really know the reason why the trainer is not working for you. I haven't played the game for sometime now, so I don't know if there are any more reasons on why the trainer fails to work. Maybe you should go through the troubleshooting guide and see if you haven't missed out on anything.

When I downloaded the trainer for the RETAIL version, I noticed that it was named "me2s". Does the "s" annotate the trainer for the "Steam" version, and maybe someone goofed and put it up in place of the retail version? The trainer for the Steam version is also named "me2s", so I can't tell.

I just did a quick check and 1. Mass Effect 2 - Mega Trainer 1.02 is marked as me2s and 2. Mass Effect 2 - Mega Trainer 1.02 (STEAM/D2D) is marked as as Me2s as well. But file sizes are different for both. But I can say that "1. Mass Effect 2 - Mega Trainer 1.02" works for my Retail one.
My system is 32bit vista. AVG Resident shield set to ignore those files when in use and they have Admin rights set as standard. So I can say for sure the first one works perfectly well.
I can confirm that the non-Steam trainer works on my retail version. What I did notice though, was that the super health option didn't work on its own, either that or it didn't work right away. It did work, however, when I used the super squad health option also.
So either activate the health option early and wait a bit, or use both health and squad health options simultaneously.

HA option 4 too it looks like the game freaks out as soon as u activate ammo and no reload for me though Strange the game works but the trainer dose as well but its not working as soon as I fire the gun now I am really
