Sure it would mean no one has to worry about it at all but it's overkill. It'd be like putting speed limiters on every single car so they can't go anywhere over 70. Or so they can't accelerate over a set rate.

Why not put speed limiters on every car? Might save a lot of lives, and criminals will find it harder to get away in high speed chases cause there will be no high speed chases Lawlz

V.I.P.
Are you honestly trying to tell me that you'd rather your kids go search out pictures of boobs rather than come to you ask you about the birds and the bees? You really want your 10 year old child, a mere innocent little child to learn the facts of life from someone who lurks in the deepest orifice of 4chan?

Who actually looks up porn because of reproduction? Get real. They do it because of sexual desire. I couldn't care less if my kids end up searching for porn, because almost everyone here has done it.

Also, you assume I wouldn't educate them properly in the first place, and that they'd find 4chan so easily. I first heard of 4chan at 15, you assume I'd allow a 10 year old to a) Find it and b) Go on it. There is a big difference between porn and age-appropriate content. Sex is sex, vile "jokes" are another matter entirely.

Internet equal freedom of expression of ideas and thoughts.

In any kind of society that a group of mankind establish there's a dictatorial which could be by selection(oligarchy) the most powerful-one with force(autocracy) or by common agreement(democracy).

Now this dictatorial which has the power(it's different to dictatorship that is used as common)to the society, if not accepted or there are dissenters which their critics are crucial to ruling system then they must be shut down. One way or another.

Even in democracies it has been seen.

I'm 14 and I have never heard of 4chan until now. I have never stumbled upon pornography nor has anybody ever sent some to me.
Censorship seems fine to me.

I know that some of my friends watch porn and to be honest it makes very little difference in their lives.

The level of this ban-ship is important. Protecting youth from porn or praising ethics for families then it will end attempts against government or terrorist actions against nation. It's all BS and lies to avoid people from communication. Simply makes people not to know what's what!?

Governments start with those slogans then crack down every opposition. Check North Korea.

Because we're not communists.

Ever heard of prohibition? The Canadian and American governments tried to outlaw alcohol in the 20s and 30s. And all it did was provide a breeding ground for organized crime. Everyone still drank alcohol, just underground illegally. Do something like that to cars and people will go to their mechanics and get them removed. Or some idiots will try it themselves and touch something they shouldn't and end up breaking something important.

Prohibition has got nothing to do with Communism. Communism is ideology which has regulations for Economy and distribution of wealth in society. What came along after which had happened in non-communist countries is something different.

And who's we?

Capitalism has brought prohibitions from time to time. But point here isn't defending left or right wings, instead, defining the freedom of choice and of course expression.

There should be a choice for one not just obligations. That's how you take first steps toward humanity. Letting the one to choose.
And no need to say that ideologies or religions which stepped to earth, came for helping human to increase it's stance of prosperity and humanity.
