In theory communism deals with the economy and wealth. In theory, it even works. In practice however, it's about nothing but abuse of power, total control over the people, and a complete lack of accountability.
I wasn't using Prohibition as an example of communism, just as an example of trying to control the population in a ridiculous way. Prohibition didn't work, just like a idea of speed limiters on all cars wouldn't work in a free society, a democratic society. And that's what I meant by "We", Western society.

I don't want to get off the line here but remember that Communism in practice isn't what you read in Soviet Union history, that was Autocracy under the veil of common welfare. It's about hell mot of more than control.
