i am also havin the same problem . . i overtake every one in the race , no bangs , no slowdown on corners bt still i lose to durker . . .any one help plz . .saurabh if u have finshed d race den plz mail me the save game profile on nikhiljain1984@gmail.com

I start the race, overtake everyone and stay in the lead the entire 3 laps. I cross the finish line but nothing happens.

THEN when Kurt crosses the line it says he won and MISSION FAILED window pops up.

I searched around online and it appears that a cut scene is supposed to occur when you pass Kurt ?

Anyways if anyone knows how to make the cut scene pop up and post it here, that would be great.

During the first (Of three if I remember correctly.) I passed a few cars (Looked scripted as they slow down and won't try catch up.) then during the second lap I passed a few more in the same way and during the third lap I closed in on Dirker and the cutscene triggered just as I got near him with the mission completing shortly afterwards.
(Trying to avoid potential spoilers.)

no it does not. not on cars. and a warning: don't use the freeze option too often..it freezes/crashes the game sometimes.
