You can be in second after the first lap & the event still triggers during the second lap. Perhaps a reinstall would solve the ops problem.
As for the mid-game races, I tend to wait for the Aurora & get the Nitrous Perk before taking part in them. The Altair is good enough but I find the Aurora drifts better.
It sounds like to some of you that you are glitching (the first race i assume). You don't cross the finish line, all you do is pass dierker and the cutscene appears (might be a script malfunction) if reinstalling doesn't work (also it might be helpful if you told your OS (SP # too) and Bit (64 or 32) type (many problems are OS related when it comes to software).
That race made me to quite the gaming and just hovering over the girls upper bodies in the casino!

It seems there is an issue with the install or something with guys not finishing the first race. I think I ended the race in the first round when playing the game again on hard mode. (no cheats)
Could anyone tell me how to win the time trial. It seems it is impossible to go such a long way in a minute forty five. I have tried with different cars but no luck any help is appreciated.
I couldn't complete the hijacker perk the first time but have completed it now in my second go on hard. I also found a map with the vehicles marked on it. It is a great help as the vehicles are near the place shown on the map, if not exactly there. I can post it if allowed and if anyone needs it.
