And btw, it didn't really work for me. It happened that i seemed to encounter EVEN MORE disasters and pirate raids....do you think there's anything i can do? maybe the chinese version is the opposite of the eng ver, so that the smaller the frequency value the less the incident would occur?

I would prefer you post a link to this thread, so I can follow feedback (until I decide my mod is finalized). If that is not practical because most people on the thread are not bilingual, than I would appreciate if you include a link to this thread in your translation.
Also did you follow the instrucions? It is very important that you COPY the file AND start a new game. And I am starting to think languanges really don't matter.
yeah i already cited this site and also mentioned your name on it. most of the feedbacks replied that the frequency of incidents increased dramatically. one even said he had 10 raids in 20 mins...so i am just curious if the chinese system actually integrates the float digits differently. i've also asked them to help conduct a series of test on all 3 mods to see if the frequency actually is increasing.

Is it possible for you to provide me with a package that the floats are lower than the default so that I can send it out for test as well? I can also provide you with the results later on. That is if you wish. Or I can of course wait for you to complete the entire project before i can cite it in the forum

The settings I changed are 'second counts' before/between events, that is, how many seconds pass between them. Setting them to lower numbers will NOT work for other languages, the only possibility is that different languanges refer to different files (though it seems to work in russian) and there is nothing I can do (being an ignorant mono-lingual).
However I think it should work, and you didn't answer my question about starting a new game.
Clarify just once more, this MOD wont work if, I log in when playing, even after I make a new game, start it up with the mod and all, than save, exit game, restart game, login-reload save, thus MOD no longer used? since I logged in? just cause of achievements and such. You do need to be logged in to get achievements right? or is it offline to.
I actually think it WILL work online, but I need someone to verify that for me. If you would try I would be grateful.
I broke my installs several times making these by modify data in stupid ways untill I learned better, I needed to install a version sans secure rom so I can't log in.
And herman by a new game I mean selecting a new planet from the main menu. Are you online, or did you disable the EA connection?
