anyone tried this btw? i have not re-installed the game. Also, my version of VISTA also had SP1 already embedded into the install. not sure i can 'remove' it.
at any rate, let me know if anybody has gotten past this problem and how.
best, Cal
I think going forward all future DX10 trainers should be Vista SP1 compatible. You ask why. I know vista has its problems. But SP1 Does improve performance. My game rating was 5.5 with SP1 it is now 5.6. SP1 improved memory count and processor count. Everything else is 5.9. Games such as Crysis Supreme Commander and Company of Heroes play smoother. Please consider.
Okay, I can confirm the same thing on SP1 with the DX9 trainer, even when running it as Administrator.
When using the Palladium hotkey, the palladium display gets increased, but the actual palladium does not, so when palladium changes hands, the display will be "reset" to its actual value.
we have to look at each of these separately with SP1, both DX9 and DX10. i will look at the DX9 version this evening and get back with you. we completed the SP1 DX-10 version.
please understand the frustration, time, and extreme efforts it takes to make the trainers work for all different systems and setups and OS's.
When the OS updates to a new OS type (SP1) often system files and .dll's get updated. these .dll's may change in the way they function and store data on the stack, etc. at any rate, this affects operation of our trainers, especially on severely complex games such as this one.
we are looking into it and will have an updated SP1 DX-9 version available soon and we ask that you be patient. please note, that in the future there may be some point where we may only support dx-10 versions for SP1 for this title. you might want to look into your options regarding video cards and update to get to dx-10 at some point in the near future to assure the trainers here will work for you.
