anyone tried this btw? i have not re-installed the game. Also, my version of VISTA also had SP1 already embedded into the install. not sure i can 'remove' it.

at any rate, let me know if anybody has gotten past this problem and how.

thanks for checking this out.....

i have uninstalled and reinstalled SP1 3 times....no luck....when i have it installed....the trainer will add money and "Activate" is heard when pressing the "6" keypad button,but, as soon as i buy/upgrade using the augmentrix...the total amount i had goes down way more than it should (example...it shows i have 500,000 palladium....i spend 1,000 palladium...it goes down to 100,000 palladium).....

same with experience...i kill one creature to get some exp., i then add enough exp to say level to 25....but when i kill something again....it drops the exp to 100,000 and i am at level 8....i add more exp....it only lets me go to level 10....then nothing....it won't level up anymore no matter what i add.

now without SP1 installed, no problems....the trainer works like a charm.

i wish i knew more about how trainers work so i could be of more help.....

i do know that Vista is not on the top of my list as one of the better OS put out by Microsoft, and Hellgate is not easy to manipulate either.....you guys are the only ones i can find who actually have a working trainer on the whole internet

i will try the DEP solution with SP1 installed....if that doesn't work i will just uninstall SP1....it doesn't seem to fix much that i noticed anyway

I am also having this problem with Vista SP1. When using the trainer to add attributes, skill points, or palladium, it shows the points being added (sometimes, not every time, although it always says "Activated" ), but when I click to add a stat/skill point, it reverts it back to the original number (before the trainer added points).

For those having issues, please let us know if it's with the DX9 trainer, DX10 trainer or BOTH. thx

I have only tried it on the DX9 trainer, so I'm not sure if the DX10 is sharing the same issues.

Yeah, i'm using the DX10 version, does pretty much the same thing, doesn't add attribute or skill points and the paladium value keeps dropping insane ammounts

I am having issues with the DX9 version.

Its both trainers and its also health to it will show full but i will still die or while the health part is on the rare and other special demons just dont want to die i will be sitting there and beating on them forever and their health bars just wont drop any and i tried another trainer from gameburnworld.com and it would not let me move my game past a certain point i could get through all the templar bases missions turn off the game and i would find myself going all the way back to choclate park all over again
