Vi****** NoCD patch (I own the game, but hate disc swapping and copy protection)
DX10 updated SP1 trainer does nothing. No "hhhActivated!" when I press F1 at the main menu, and nothing happens when I press any of the associated keys.
DEP is disabled, everything is ran as administrator. The pre-SP1 trainer still works, but only for health and power. That's it. That's all it does correctly. Updates Palladium, but as soon as I buy or sell something it resets to the original amount. It will add experience once in a great while, but I have to hit numpad 7 like 30 times and talk to at least 2 different NPC's to finish at least 2 XP giving quests in the same station for it to actually add any XP. Even then it only does it sometimes.
I really like the available options in this trainer, but I'd like it even more if they all worked. LOL.
I've gotten around some of it by using Poke to edit my money/mod parts/attribute points/XP manually, but the skill points are tricky. I got it to set my SP to 33 and lock it, but I don't know how I did it. It found 3 mem locations that kept changing with the in game sp, so I locked them at 33, but back in game, it didn't have any effect. So I closed poke (unlocking the 3 mem locations), went back in game, and the SP was locked at 33.
I don't blame you guys for the trainer being a bit broken. It seems this game is VERY hard to crack.
i've tested them on XP dx-9, vista dx-9, vista sp1 dx-9, vista sp1 dx-10. they all work appropriately. however, my version of vista (ultimate, home, etc., might) be different than yours, etc.. i have no other explanation for you and at this point i am not going to fight this horror of a game any longer.
the problem is vista and the 15 flavors of it-
i am very close to just closing shop on this game and moving on. it has taken up way too much of my time and efforts and in many cases, people still complain and have problems. i was working until 12:30 am last night wrapping this all up and to hear that people are having problems still at this point is defeating and to be honest i don't want the added aggravation, snide remarks, or argumentative posts any longer. the fact that there are 4 executables in one game release says it all.
I'm going to have to agree with Cal on this one. We've released 13 different trainers for this game to accomodate all the different versions and OS's. I think we've gone above and beyond what anyone else has even attempted to do. It's not like it takes 5 mins to update this game, it literally takes hours and hours and then we have to reinstall different OS's, etc. There has to be a limit here somewhere.
All I can really recommend at this point is to update your game to the new 1.2 patch and try our newest trainers. You also have the option of uninstalling Vista SP1.

Sorry. I wasn't trying to imply that you guys were doing bad work. I meant that the Vista/game combo seems to break your trainer for some people. That was all.
I don't blame you for giving up on it, though. After all the work you've done, and all the problems and what not, I'd leave it alone too.
Hope I didn't sound unappreciative in my earlier post.
well my post did come off a bit abrasive and i apologize as well. thanks for understanding. i will look at the 1.35. and see if i can spot something wrong.
