So with the stat editing cheats... does the game register the changed stats properly?
I get you make the edit, save and load, and you'll see the changes.
There's been other trainers doing the same. The issue all of them have is, while the game treats your stats as legit as you play (giving yourself high Agility gives you lots of dodge for example)... when you go to level up your character, talents that need minimum stats (like Power Armor needing 45 Strength) don't actually register your cheated stats, and the game seems to think you still have whatever your actual base stats are before cheating.
The game is very complicated coded and this is the best approach I could come up with, try editing your stats using the editor then upgrade your character and save then reload the game then see how that goes.
Yeah, not criticizing. I get that the way stats are handled are complex. Was just wondering if there's a way to get it properly working.
I've seen some people trying to come up with a cheat for stat increases at character creation and such, but nobody's had much luck.
As I said, the game seems to treat the stats as legit as you play. It's just on level up where they don't seem to count for some reason.
For the stats there are lots of calculations and unlimited lines of codes and functions and I was lost in it once, this is how statistics works, game creates a virtual machine then reads the stats and after completing the calculations it registers and updates them then in the end stores them back replacing the original data and finally destroys the virtual machine , there’s so much code that literally drives anyone insane and at the character creation it’s a different mechanism they can be modified visually but that’s just it after getting inside the game they all revert back to normal.
This game must be utterly broken....
