Really liked this significant update, the new overlay is very cool and some new awesome features as well, especially liked the collections section..

I like the look of the Library now. The graphics and collections and especially the game list on the left are much easier to read and navigate. Definitely an improvement.

Filtering the steam library takes much longer. It filters fast but then stuck/freezes when loading the icons. Its a downgrade on productivity for me. Enabling low performance mode doesn't really help.

I will try n be polite as much as I can. But I really HATE IT! I dont like the colours I dont like the home screen with all that annoying rubbish on the right and even changing it to the collection tab made me want to delete on the collections and just keep my completed one to track what I have done. The searching tho.

The only thing I like about it is the searching as i always keep it on installed games. Now I can search for non installed games without having to go in a change it.

That is the only good thing about the change I see for me.

Oh to add one of my freinds she even hates it to.

Hmm sorry to hear that, I have none of the issues above and everything is pretty much fluid for me, I actually had the loading icons issue in the older version.

Couldn't agree more, the game list is finally improved and much more readable, the game's info page is organized and much more comfortable and looks way better than the older version imo.

@KingEli: The icons are cached if you already have scrolled through your list once you will not get any freezes anymore until the cache is cleared. Also if you have your games on an SSD it might be a bit better.

What's totally missing for me is the game news section I used regularly to get the version number. This has been replaced with activity which shows user content mostly.

I'm sure they will address more feedback over the time.

Yes I thought they were cached but even after a restart it stays the same, also my Steam library is quite vast with over 2000 games so they are never really all cached since I don't go through my whole library each time I restart.
Btw my games are installed partially on ssd's and high performance hdd's and yes it definitely helps.
