Yeah and this..
People move on as they grow older and find different interests to give more attention..
And I sometimes forget about this site for months, but then I remember it and go active for a while but then leave again. It goes on in this cycle.
Lmao, that's weird because I thought the place had been picking up over the past few weeks.
Or to endlessly complain that there isn't a specific option they alone want... but that's another story. <.<
In that regard, CH isn't much different from other sites which require a sign up/payment to gain access to the files stored there. Old members move on, or lose patience with new members who seem to think the site is here for them and them alone. -shrugs- Sad, but true. I've seen this kind of thing take down a good number of decent sites before, or at least kill the "community" aspect. Hopefully that won't happen here though.
Disclaimer: I'm not blaming all problems on all new members, by the way. I re-read my post and realised it seemed that way. The more new members we get on CH the better. It's just some... well, I've already gone in to that.

Then the members at that time started to get bored or just grew up from the site and they just stopped visiting the site much. The problem was no one really replaced those active members.
I bet most of them still lurk in the darkness and visit the site, just without posting or creating topics as they used to.
And the community now seems to be divided into groups, which I think kinda doesn't allow new members to join in or feel welcomed here.
Seriously I might be wrong but I don't see that many new members posting all the time on the boards and people complaining about that there are too many noobs and stuff.
I haven't really noticed any signs of an increase in activity... :/
Also I agree with Rami. The site is split up into groups. We are too divided and divided we fall. Although I suppose I'm probably not the best example.
