@ Moorey
tis ashame that you feel that way. i had hoped that by now the general anti-newb mindset of veteran members would have mostly faded away since we dont get many new members on the forums these days.
i wouldn't worry too much about being 'intrusive'. everyone here generally appreciates anyone's input on a discussion regardless of their join date.
take Dhampy as a good example...well not a good example but an example nonetheless. as a newbie he dove into the forums face-first(mainly because he was drunk) and now he's like family to all the us vet members here...yuh kno, like the creepy uncle that always smells like scotch and beef jerky
<_<

funny u mention Dhamps that way..but yea..u're right. he's a good example.
It's called growing up. When I first joined this site, I was 14 years old. I'm now 21 years old. A 14 year old looks at the community much different than a 21 year old does. As much as you don't want to hear it, the community as a whole is not going to grow up with you. It will always stay at that 14-16 year old range with younger generations replacing you as the new fresh people.
The only problem being that those 14-16 year olds aren't here to replace older members or post on GD or OTD, they are here for trainers.

Except there have been fewer 14 to 16 year olds who stay to replace us, so most people pop in every so often and things stagnate.
As for GD itself, people post in the wrong place.
