I have noticed many people with group names in their signatures. As long as groups make new members feel welcome then its not really a problem. And bashing people for being new to the site isn't going to help new members stay. We all need to be polite to ALL members of CH. Not just the ones we know and have been here for years.
That's just Ammo and Strange Gang. Those aren't really the kind of groups I was referring to.

well...yea..things seem to be picking up over the past few weeks...but what i meant was..in general u know...game threads and stuff and some older members going silent/growing up. gives me the impression of things being a bit quiet.
It's called growing up. When I first joined this site, I was 14 years old. I'm now 21 years old. A 14 year old looks at the community much different than a 21 year old does. As much as you don't want to hear it, the community as a whole is not going to grow up with you. It will always stay at that 14-16 year old range with younger generations replacing you as the new fresh people.
Indeed. I have watched this site for well over 6 years. I was active alot 05-06 and there was still topics like this. Cheathappens has only improved over the years. Ive watched the site evolve and its still my favorite videogame site on the web.

The improvement was in the trainers and gaming aspects of the site. Not so much the community.
i think its because , honestly , the message boards for general posts are kinda hard to find
i've been a member for 2 years and only since recently i found out about the existance of a "non-title-specific" board
perhaps there should be a more obvious link to it?
or call it Forum , cause thats what i was looking for and didnt find in those 2 years
and basically , this is a forum ^^

If you look at the top of the page there is a big button that says "Message Boards"
I don't mean to bash but that is pretty obvious.
well that could be just me , but i whould name this place more a forum then a messageboard , while they techinically mean the same, forum is more used. and more recognizable
i never found it until now
I'd think that message board would be more understandable to a newer user. I didn't know what a forum was when I started joining sites.
