But the first thing that crossed my mind was Metriod/Samus
But its a very hard desciption, because on the NES every weapon in a game looks like a stick.

While searching youtube for hacked/pirated games, I found something that might help.

in the game I want Mario has a smaller head and just a little bit shorter and holds a stick, and I think the game has better graphics a little...
