In Europe it was called Shadow Warriors instead.

Ninja Gaiden was indeed on the NES.

Thanks for reminding me of The Legend of Kage LOL I used to like it I might check it out when I'm bored, but it's not the game I'm looking for, and it's not Ninja Gaiden I still remember those two games.

The character in the game I'm looking for was Mario I'm pretty sure, I'm afraid it was a hacked game or an unofficial thing.



"Larger than usual" MARIO wearing something white holding a stick and uses it to do wall jumps... thats the only thing I can remember.

When I Googled that, it came up with a hack NES Mario came called Super KKK Mario.

Ouch. Not a good thing to admit being a fan of.

Was it "Wrecking Crew", which is indeed a Mario game.

The only other thing I can think of with a large Mario-looking character is...Super Mario 2...which is actually Doki Doki Panic with new character graphics.

no it's not those games, I don't think I'll find it, maybe one day I will accidentally find it...
