As the topic says, even though it is a silly question to ask, but the fact is------- i don't have enough money to buy a PS 3 so i am willing to sell my PS 2 along with 30 games to boost up the raise. Only confusion, is whether i can run my PS 2 games on PS 3 ??...... If anyone knows; plz answer, and thank you all........

Depends which model your buying. I know the very first fat PS3's could play PS1/2 games. Then I got my PS3 when the 40GB fat PS3's came out, which I can play PS1 games on but not PS2 games. Quick anwser: If your buying a new PS3, it will play PS1 games, but not PS2 games. I was actually playing Grand Theft Auto 1(PS1) just earlier today on my PS3.

Which model PS3 does he have? All PS3's should play PlayStation 1 games, but only the PlayStation 3's that came out before the 40GB(Fat PS3) should play PlayStation 2 games.
