its soo long and boring
What? Fallout 3 is criminally short.
Yeah, Fallout 3 is pretty boring after awhile. It took less than 8 hours to finish the main quest and after that there really was no reason to play the game anymore. The wasteland is just too scripted and it makes adventuring boring - especially the second time playing it. The game world needs to feel alive with dynamic npcs that think and act for themselves - not scripted encounters. Fallout 3 feels like the game world revolves around the player too much also. That makes all the npcs you find in places like Megaton feel very artificial and fake. They are just there to cater to you and have no life of their own. It was a cool game at first, but once you're done with it - you're done with it.
If they make another Fallout game they need to make sure that the game world is not scripted so the world doesn't feel like it revolves around the player so much. Also, I think they should drop the whole "main quest" idea and just create tons of good quality mini-quests instead. That way the game never ends and it's just about developing your character and obtaining newer and better equipment.

I completely agree.
I think they should make the way it works a bit more like oblivion, though it uses the same engine i feel the Npc quality suffered drastic cutbacks.
EDIT: Yea Dhampy, i thought they jipped us a bit in the field of many quests so they could laze around and make it up with add-ons whenever.

I would second that.
In addition, it has a lack of side quests unlike Oblivion, which makes us hungry for DLC's....capitalist bethesda.

In the games defence the DLC's are well, well worth it.
