Here's the readme on the options:

Options

Numpad 1: Gold
Numpad 2: Reduce Enemy Gold
Numpad 3: Unlock Ships
Numpad 4: Fast Build Ship
Numpad 5: Speedy Ship
Numpad 6: Freeze Date
Numpad 7: Mega Hull
Numpad 8: Mega Sail
Numpad 9: Mega Cannon
Numpad +: Marine Force
Numpad -: Huge Cargo
Numpad 0: Refill Ammo
Numpad *: Blast Enemy Hull

Notes
-------

Numpad 1: Gold - turn this on while in port to recieve mega gold.

Numpad 2: Reduce Enemy Gold - while in port, select Game Info button at top of
screen, then Diplomacy Tab, then turn option on, select Country you
wish to affect, then select Negotiate button and you will see that
the enemy has no gold. Turn option off when done.

Numpad 3: Unlock Ships - turn this on and then enter the Shipyard. If you have
enough money, locked ships can be unlocked.

Numpad 4: Fast Build Ship - turn this on and then enter the shipyard. You will
see that ships will take 0 months to build. You will still have to wait
at least one month, however, due to the mechanics of the game.

Numpad 5: Speedy Ship - turn this on and then enter the shipyard. You may
have to press the ship type button twice to see the maximum speed is 99.

Numpad 6: Freeze Date - this freezes the current date. Please note that anything
dependant on the date will also freeze. Use this to complete missions
within allotted time frames. Probably best to have your ships built before
turning this on, etc.

Numpad 7: Mega Hull - use this in Port or during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see it has increased. You may have to press the ship button
twice to see it has taken effect. This does NOT work in strategic/map
area. Be sure to make changes in Ship, etc. BEFORE going into strategic/map
mode and attacking ports, etc.

Numpad 8: Mega Sail - use this in Port or during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see it has increased. You may have to press the ship button
twice to see it has taken effect. This does NOT work in strategic/map
area. Be sure to make changes in Ship, etc. BEFORE going into strategic/map
mode and attacking ports, etc.

Numpad 9: Mega Cannon - use this in Port or during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see it has increased. You may have to press the ship button
twice to see it has taken effect. This does NOT work in strategic/map
area. Be sure to make changes in Ship, etc. BEFORE going into strategic/map
mode and attacking ports, etc.

Numpad +: Marine Force - use this in Port or during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see it has increased. You may have to press the ship button
twice to see it has taken effect. This does NOT work in strategic/map
area. Be sure to make changes in Ship, etc. BEFORE going into strategic/map
mode and attacking ports, etc.

Numpad -: Huge Cargo - use this in Port or during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see it has increased. You may have to press the ship button
twice to see it has taken effect. This does NOT work in strategic/map
area. Be sure to make changes in Ship, etc. BEFORE going into strategic/map
mode and attacking ports, etc. You can carry incredible amounts of cargo.

Numpad 0: Refill Ammo - use this in Port or during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see it has increased. You may have to press the ship button
twice to see it has taken effect. This does NOT work in strategic/map
area. Be sure to make changes in Ship, etc. BEFORE going into strategic/map
mode and attacking ports, etc.

Numpad *: Blast Enemy Hull - use this during Tactical Battles. Press this key
and you will see that the enemy ship you have selected only has one hull
point left.

my suggestion is to reinstall from scratch and use 1.0 trainer with 1.0 version of your game or copy over NO-DVD crack and use 1.0 trainer.

how i tested:

started new campaign
entered port
pressed options 1,3,4
selected shipyard
pressed on ship at bottom to unlock it
payed money to unlock it
clicked it to put it in queue
says 0 months to build

worked with many ships

went back into strategic mode and started time at 4X. ships were each built in 1 month one after the next-

i guess make sure you have option 4 enabled before you enter the shipyard.

sorry, but we don't have 1.01 retail .exe, only the 1.01 steam .exe (you can send us your .exe for us to look at it, but likely it's protected, etc.)
