so when i start a game i looked for the corsair place got a marque letter and a boarding hook. and just took over thier flagship. i had 4 flagships with speedboat speed and like a 1 mile shooting range like a destroyer.
i also changed some numbers around that my whole island would only need 1 marketplace 1 church 1 chapel 1 tavern. oh and the fire... well there is none.
here is my setting for the flagship. all you need to do is edit the xml file with notepad other editors might break the assets.xml file.
so the ones i changed are in bold.

I figured the best ships to edit would be the oriental ones since the AI doesnt seem to ever produce them.
Also since its easy to enable the preorder silver ship properly, why not just edit that instead of the normal flagship since the AI's only have the regular kind.
I edited the asset file i already had to experiment with, and ive doen the same changes you provided but for the preorder ship as well as the orient ships, i'll test them out and report back later

can you post something on how to activate that silver ship? that would be helpful.
when you enable it with help of modifying the game data the computer will get access to it as well . . .
And where do I put the assets file so the game will use it instead of the one in the data file?
