Its Tom Clancy, for sake!
Rainbow Six, Red October/Jack Ryan, Splinter Cell, NetForce.. The reality and plausibility of it all is what makes it so good. Pick up one of his Guided Tours books and you'll see.
But NAY, says Ubisoft. Let's toss realism out of the window and bastardize modern air combat by flipping around airplanes.

This isn't Tom Clancy, this is another bad story of how evil commercialism and privatization of the military is and how great and moral the USA is.
It's ****ty, lame and extraordinarily unrealistic.
i mean, why would a company like that attack the US? what would they do if they won?
It's all not very well thought through, and Tom Clancy almost always is!!!!
In this retarded game every fighter have 150 missiles and stealth means it takes more time to lock on, Radar works the same on all airplane as if everyone had the same model...
and you can turn off ASSISTANCE to make 360 digree turns at mach 2.
In last years extremely realistic flight based games made many people sick. HAWX is a good break.
"This is a good game, for the people who just want to fly without having much experience,as a retired pilot has."-A great quote I heard in BBC Persian about this game-
But I think the unreal part is just more than it should be.
Agree with ya there
its a good break from hard and complex flying games
