I really don't notice any differance between planes in this game unless the sliders are at their opposite sides. They all handle in their same ridiculous arcade manner and come packed with hundreds of reloading missiles.
I wonder what went through the heads of the design team when they decided to allow you to take 180 degree turns going 1200kph without killing the pilot and smashing the jet to bits.

This is what you get when you mix arcade with graphics. Yes, the graphics are stunning when maxed out on dx10, but if you are looking for anything remotely realistic you will get slapped with the force and size of your expectations.

It did have a few fun moments, but it was all undermined by the Ghost teams. It made me want to play Ghost Recon, so I did. Immediately upon starting GR:AW, I imagined a MIG doing a 90 degree turn in full afterburners, flipping around to get a lock, launching two missiles before going into a stall then somehow pushing its nose down in a STALL to recover from it, and going after the next enemy.. It's just not plausible in ANY scenario.

Towards the end of HAWX I was expecting Sam Fisher sneaking in and stabbing me inside the ****pit with the dialogue of Prince of Persia and Lambert.

I don't think they were trying to make a flight simulator.

    Its Tom Clancy, for sake!

Rainbow Six, Red October/Jack Ryan, Splinter Cell, NetForce.. The reality and plausibility of it all is what makes it so good. Pick up one of his Guided Tours books and you'll see.

But NAY, says Ubisoft. Let's toss realism out of the window and bastardize modern air combat by flipping around airplanes.

Ubisoft sed that H.A.W.X will be only a arcade game, but most people don`t read and start talking how the game is so bad the city isn`t made good. They think that this game is a simulator.I agree that Tom Clancy`s serias is realistic ,but this one isn`t very.
Last year Ubisoft created Prince of Persia .The game had nothing to do with the previous games nad the grafics were like from a cartoon .Now this game is a litlle low on grafics ,but at least its better than Prince of Persia.

The games aren`t real and that is a fact we have to accept.

I like the graphics. Getting close to ground you see it's really just a satelite image with some decals on it, but the models are amazingly detailed and the effects aren't overwhelming. The rain is very well done and the bloom isn't blinding untill you stare at the sun. They need to work a bit on the engine but other than that a very good experience.

    It's the bad ideas I don't like.

It's a fun game, but can be a bit frustrating at times due to the endless waves of enemies. Also, a lot of the buildings are generic templates. I know this because it one of the missions you fly over where my apartment is supposed to be, and the building that's there is definitely not my apartment building.

    It might be in 2020
