Empire: Total War Message Board  

Fed up with this game and laggy play already. I'm going back to the older Total War games. They were far less aggravating.

I have no problems with it and I can't seem to recreate anyone's problems.

My game hangs for 30 - 60 seconds any time I click on ANYTHING. Armies, cities, agents, the diplomacy tab, ect.

The only thing that doesn't elect this response the the menu button.

It's calculating movement paths. The only time I get a big wait is the first time I click on a unit after loading a game or starting a new game, or when I use the big movement trainer option.

I don't get it. Your computer is zounds better than mine.

Why don't you two compare specs and see if that might be the problem? I'm not sure.

Even when I'm not using anything other than the money option...

Nevermind my post, I read what Dhampy said.

i have only had random crashes, and the system only hangs if im using the extreme movement option from the trainer. the game runs smooth other then that.

does your systme surpas the requirments or barely meet them?
and ya the game has issues, definatly the buggiest game theyve released but its a whole new engine, concept, gameplay and approach they undertook, give it some time for patches and mods and this game will own!
