Those are Legendary Machine Pieces. They are in red boxes in abstract locations on the map. (Eletric Lounge, beach to the left of the City Hall, ect.) There are 2 Legendary Machines; The Dragoon and the Hydra. The Dragoon's pieces are pink-ish, and the Hydra's are green. If you collect 3 of the respective Legendary Machine's Peices, then you create that Legendary Machine as a ride-able machine. Not always, but sometimes you can find either legendary's peices in abstract located red boxes. Not usually though. Rarley both. But their purpose is to basically, give you an over-powered egde, depending on which one you form. Dragoon: Speed and glide increase greatly. Downside: May be hard to control. Hydra: Offense, defense, health, and speed increase. Downside: Takes very long to charge; charge is required to get the vehicle moving, similarly to the Bulk Star. But anyway, hope this helps! :P

Neither secret or sacred, they are called the "Legendary Vehicle Pieces" with good reason. They are very OP.
