Well there is no way to disarm unless you are thinking of the game mgs4.

When you go on your first date with Michelle, Roman calls you for help from some loan sharks. When you kill the two guys beating him you chase a guy to the docks area where you have to fight him. He has a knife and the on screen tips tell you how to disarm him and take his knife.

Second heres how to do it
1.Hold l2 to lock on
2.JUST before a hit hold x
3.press o or triangle i thnk triangle
4.you will da a major punch and if hte guy has a weapon u will disarm him

oh I see now. on playstation u lock on with L2 <---(i think) and you push x to block, square to kick, triangle for power punch, and o for regular punch. Also i didn't find this out until like two week after I played the game but you can pick up stuff people drop like phones and coffe cups,or go into places and pick up certain food and drinks by holding L1 but it you tap it and your by a taxi your ganna whistle, its fun to throw peoples stuff back at them

there is a mision where you have to pick up a brick and throw it through a window very early on in the game so how can you have not managed to find out until after two weeks

I knew you could throw the brick in the mission but I tried it a couple weeks afterwards ( I forgot what button to use to pick up stuff ) Finally I went to the russian cloths shop and I was messing with the sales lady and I was pushing all sorts of buttons and somehow I picked up the coffee mugs on the counter and that is when I relised that I could do that. I think I did try to pick something up after the one mission but he kept calling for a Taxi so I figured I was only able to do it in the mission.
