Someone said the trainer worked with the D2D version. I haven't had any success.. suggestions?

Besides buying in-store and not D2D? Than no, that's the only suggestion I can think of. But buying in-store so I receive the original game disc, manual and box is my own preference.

The trainer works fine with the D2D version. I've been using it without any problems except the few trainer bugs that everyone gets.

Try using the no-cd fix on your D2D version. Also refer to the trainer troubleshooting guide as you may have another issue.

so okay

where do I place the file i downloaded

it says to replace MASSEFFECT.EXE but I dont see that i just see masseffect launcher

put it in \Mass Effect\Binaries
