Correct, in Halo 2 you were able to drive the Wraith. One point.
Question Four: What was the name of the planet that was destroyed by the Covenant directly before the start of Halo CE?
Bonus: Name and (briefly) describe the process of how the Covenant destroys planets.

Question 4: Planet Reach
Bonus: It's via a process called "vitrification", but it's known only as "glassing". The Covenant use their destroyers/battle ships to burn the planet's surface with a chemical until the surface becomes all but glass.

The planet reach, the UNSC's military stronghold.
They bombard the surface with plasma that's so hot it turns everything to glass which is why it's called glassing. The planet remains a ball with a surface of molten glass for a long time until it finally cools.

The SMG's
If I understand the question correctly, they are both dual wielding SMG type weapons with a high rate of fire that are not very useful as a single wielding weapon.
By the way, is there a way that people can answer these questions without other people seeing them and just copying them? That way it's not just the person who checks first that wins and more than one person can score on the same question.

The first person who answers correctly will get the point.
Since you gave one counterpart to the Spiker, you will be awarded one point at the end of this round. Anyone else (or you) can still give the second counterpart and the bonus.

Other possible counterparts:
- Plasma Rifles - Needler
The spiker and the SMG's both fire projectiles instead of plasma in the case of the spiker. If this is it, then the plasma rifles aren't a counterpart but the needler might be.
