I've been given special permission by PWizard to host an award show of sorts, that I've generously called "The Usies" short for the CHU User Awards. Think of it like the Oscars for the CHU community. We'll come up with a nominee list, followed by an announcement of a winner a few days latter.

The categories are as follows.

CHU Thread of the year- The following thread has been maintained and on topic for an extended period of time, the thread manager does an exquisite job of keeping his thread in tip-top shape.

CHU Youngblood of the year- The following user has been active for less than one year, and still, they make a huge difference and dedication to the website.

CHU User of the year- The highest esteem one could hope to receive in the usies, the user does everything in his or her power to make the site a better place.

Now then, receiving a nomination for a usie should (and will) be a great honor, however, winning one will be an even greater honor, and will yield a "prize". The winner of a usie will be given a custom "Usie winner" rank, to be discussed at a later date. It's unsure at the moment whether or not the user of the year will be the only to receive, or if the others shall follow in foot as well.

Discussions are already underway in refining this years nominee list, and its never to early to start working on your usie nomination for next year, so be on your best behavior.

Note- An exact date is not to be given, as cheathappenserators are all egotistical maniacs and don't like to compromise, so the nominee list may take a while.

Correct, this contest is based completely on a users behavior and dedication to the website, not their popularity.

Are we (the users) allowed to nominate others, or is that up to the mods/founders?

Feel free to make suggestions, however, keep in mind that the final nominee list is decided by myself and the other moderators.

Also, I'd like to see at least 3 sentences backing up anyone you nominate, just so I have something to go on and to weed out those who post for the sake of posting.
