that happened to me once, when i was doing thunder and lightning, i killed one kirin, ran out of sharpness so i couldnt pierce the other one and i had to abandon quest.

I usually want something one day and dont get it. Then the next day I want a different thing and get the thing In wanted yesterday. Then once I have the thing I used to want, I dont really want it at all.
