has anyone seen anything strange in the game that makes you wanna abandon quest, except your life bar

Mostly the life bar but since im only hr3 when i went into the arena to kill 50 white velcioprey and the gravios came i just abandon right there

yeah that was kind of a suprise for me too but i abandoned a quest when i saw this freakishly powerful rathalos and when you have to get 10 coal pieces for the village quest and there is a Iodrome and Kut-ku in it

When i did that quest i saw nothing, if there was those two i would just stop

When you're doing a gathering quest, let's say deliver a wyverns egg, you get close to finishing and then a Vprey knocks you over and you just can't be bothered to go back and try again

or when you have to do that village quest kill 20 vprey and that garuga turns up

Lol. Usually Rathalos once you've done it. Here's another one:
You just placed a pitful trap, and the wyvern flys away to another area.
Or, you just started a quest and you weren't paying attention and died straight away
