The egg should be hatching... maybe you need to walk some more if it doesn't hatch after like 10,000 steps then theres something wrong with it
For a secret bas you need the move Secret Power taught to one of your pokemon, then go up to one of the indents in the wall or a huge fat tree, and use secret power on it, ka-ching! there you go.

yup they need to be with active pokemon to hatch
oh.. well that's why it's not hatching.. i never take it with me! so what ur sayin is that if i walk with it with me... then it will hatch?
