Scarface: The World is Yours Message Board  

When I first got the game, I set up my controller (Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2) to my desired controls and played for about 3hrs with no problem. But when I exited the game and returned to load up my saved game, my controls were all messed up. So I set them up again and started to play only to notice that it kept assigning two actions to one button! And I can not fix or work around it at all. I have also noticed other people having this problem aswell on the VU Games Community Forums. Is there a fix for this problem? I love the game, but I can not play it at all anymore due to this button assigning problem. Would it be possible to edit the .cfg file where the configuration for the controls are located? I yet still have to find a work-around or fix for this problem.

Also, I want to thank PWizard and CheatHappens.com for the great Mega Trainer that was released to the public today. It kicks a**!

I e-mailed Sierra about the problem. They said the game buttons were not designed to be re-mapped. So I started the game over and played from the beginning and did NOT remap the buttons and just adjusted my play style to the default buttons and I had no problems.

BTW, the buttons having two actions assigned to them did not show up either.

If you try to remap ANY of the buttons, the game will not work correctly. It's dumb on the programmers end, but at least you can complete the game!

Thank you so much! This was driving me crazy, trying to figure out why this was happening! Luckily, I didn't get very far before this started happening and, since I use ReWASD, I'll be able to assign the controls that way to make it better. Like, clicking the left stick pauses the game? Who thought that was a good idea
