I think it's a major defect. it doesn't work on mine either...

may be some one can help me, do any of you know the action replay code for a 4.1 to get the sapphire back because when i activated the all tm/hm code or the infinate money code the sapphire disappeared from the long distance trading Machine.

I've found it! At least I hope I did! Sorry for being away, I've been on vacation. Well, I've found out your problem 1goku! There is an action replay cheat where you can actually buy the Sapphire at any Pokemart! It seems kinda weird, and I haven't tried it, but I hope it works. Here it is:
First line:

I have tried the Buy all items for free cheat, but not the Sapphire cheat. The buy all items for free one does work, but you can only buy one item at a time. I hope I helped .

those codes are to long for my ar its a v4.1 can you post the codes for a version 4.1?
After defeating the Elite Four, go to One Island and talk to Celio. Then, he will ask you to find a gem. After this, go to Mt. Ember. Go to where the two Rocket members are standing. They will battle you. Win, and they will leave. Go into the cave, and wind your way through the inside of Mt. Ember. Soon, you will find the Ruby. Bring it back to Celio. Give it to him, and he will give you the Rainbow Pass in return for you Tri-Pass. You can access all seven islands now. Celio will also ask you to find the Sapphire, which is in the Six Island Dotted Hole.

1goku, the only thing I've found out about certain versions for FR/LG codes for AR is Version 1 and 2 codes. Version 2 codes are for the newer AR's. Version 1 works for anything else. I think...
