What is the highest number adding "Salvage" or "Void Matter" without crashing the game and corrupt the save?

So my test experience is that both values from 2e259 are without problems... anything larger has to be done slowly. Often the game crashes or autosave becomes invalid. As of today with the current Steam version and the trainer version here.
