When I was a kid used to adore winter and snow and making snowman but since my accident which ended up with breaking my back in winter by slipping on ice I don't like it anymore.
That's terrible and really bad luck, sorry to hear that.
I know how ice and very cold weather in general can be dangerous, I have some friends in the world that made that very clear to me.
some of them can't start their car most of the winter and there are some weeks you can't exit your own street because of the snow.
Still I'm so fed up with hot desert weather that I'm thinking of taking few months off soon in a very cold and quite place.
Maybe seeing myself eating chestnuts by the fireplace in a nice cozy cottage while there is a snow storm outside...

I've seen real snow once when I was a kid, it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
