Aurora Bug Reports Discussion

I got the 1.5.6 update a few days ago and since then Aurora has been having trouble detecting when games are running. First it was with Dying Light 2, then Raft, both of which I put in a trainer update because both games had been updated. I restarted Aurora and forgot the first fail with DL2 after some time so I started it up again and Aurora found the game, though it did not find Raft still. The next day I tried Raft again and Aurora found the game running, DL2 continued to work as well. Just before me starting this post I wanted to play the last dlc for DL1 so I started it up and Aurora did not see the game. Even starting the game up, successfully, with Aurora the game still wasn't seen. I had played Raft for a few hours prior, as well as for FF7R, both games seen and Aurora worked as normal. A restart of Aurora seems to fix the problem, I just tested it and it found DL1 running.

Can you specify what you mean with "not detecting game"? Does it not detect the running process on trainer page so you cannot activate a trainer or does it not detect the running game and show you a notification if you want to open the trainer for it?

it's not detecting the running process. On the trainer page it just says "Game Not Running" even after starting said games with Aurora.

Nothing changed in that update that could cause such a problem and I cannot think about what else might have caused that.

Does this also happen on the first trainer you open with Aurora or only on the 2nd trainer?

only the second. I had semi tested it earlier by playing a little Raft before playing a little DL1 and had to restart Aurora because it was showing the "Game Not Running" message until I did.

Let me know if there is a log or something that might help. I'm off to bed right now and I have a long day of work tomorrow but can give any requested info when I get home.

have you tried deleting and redownloading Aurora?

there is a problem of recognition with the games
I redownloaded aurora to see and it does the same thing to me
otherwise you have to go through installed games in aurora normally its working for me here.
