Hi when I try to activate this trainer I'm getting 2 errors showing up under debug.
Module Engine: Failed checking at CreateToolhelp325Snapshot
and
Activation, Script error in line 3: 'DALevelManager:GetFirstPlayerPosition+60' valid address
I'm running it on the steam deck and every other game I use Aurora on has worked fine so not sure if this is an isolated issue to me or if anyone else is also experiencing something similar?
**Wanted to add I'm on V1.0.0.53022 of the game

Can you see if the same error happens on the regular PC as on the Steam Deck?
So I did test the same game file on my PC with Aurora and the trainer works fine on my PC. So I'm not sure what's causing the 2 errors on the steam deck. If anyone has any insight as the cause of the errors, it would be greatly appreciated.
Replying to myself to attach a pic of the error. What I find odd is it says "successfully attached to HaveaNiceDeath" and then the 2 errors follow immediately after
I don’t own steam deck so I can’t reproduce but is there any feature such as run as admin in it that you could try?
From what I gathered from google/the steam deck subreddit it doesn't appear there's a way to run as admin because the OS/proton essentially do that automatically? I feel like that's not the issue though as I've ran aurora the exact same way on many other games via my steam deck
From your log it’s clearly seen the trainer engine fails on createtoolhelp32snapshot api function and this has nothing to do with the trainer codes and about 99 percent of the time this happens due to limited operating system privileges given to the process while on the other hand running as admin gives full access to the trainer engine to carry on it’s duty properly.

Would I be correct in assuming that most game trainers require admin privileges? If so this doesn't make sense to me as I can get every other game to work with Aurora through the exact same process.

There are many variables(eg game engine, options, etc) involved in determining whether admin privileges is required. Those variables could necessitate a different approach in training the game and those approaches could in turn require admin privileges.
Steam OS by default has no admin privileges given for non-steam applications.
Try the following to give yourself admin privileges.

You will need to put the steam deck in "desktop mode" first. After that, you need to access "konsole"(ie the terminal) to input the process mentioned in the link.

I had already done this process months ago so unless there's some sudo command needed this should be working
