Thanks, should be fixed in next version. I also found some other issues with mini mode and TM is minimized.

Loving the new TM 2 🙂 I'm just wondering (hoping) if there will be an option to rename the Game Name. For example, I would like to be able to rename Empire Total War to Total War Empire so that it sits together with other games like Total War Rome II and Total War Britannia when sorted. It's a little thing but I like to be organized. 😉 Thanks again for the awesome work that you do.

Renaming the game name? Hm, for what exactly is this needed? You can rename the trainer name (right click on the trainer in the list and then choose trainer info. There is a text field with the trainer name, just rename it. Renaming the trainer will NOT rename the file on your hard disk.). The trainer name is what shows up when you mouse hover, or when you search for it.

I wanna share this one in case it helps someone. I had this problem that I couldn't get any covers, check updates for trainers or even check if they are up to date. I opened the log.txt and I saw truckloads of this error: 21:47: Failed to retrieve trainer image for game ID '' because of System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. I don't understand a lot about coding programs, but I'm familiar with website and web server code so I knew what 403 Forbidden means. So I did the obvious and disabled my VPN connection - and then I got all available covers and trainer updates. To be sure if that was the problem, I enabled the VPN again and then I couldn't get covers and so on.
So, I think that a CH server don't like my VPN. Or more like hates it so bad it wants to chop it with a chainsaw and burn the remains down to the ground while dancing around the fire. Is there is anything that can be done to fix this thing? Maybe some unique downloadable file similar that's used to use trainers while gaming offline?
TL;DR: if you don't get covers and trainer update don't work, try disabling your VPN connection. Or try a different PC/network. If that didn't help, reading log.txt file might point you to the right direction.

Most VPN's you can configure to allow or whitelist a website so all content comes through.

Only 1 trainer. I had added it from the steam games without trainers feature and manually downloaded it. Then it showed up in the installed section and not installed.
I have some earlier posts with screenshots if you care.
Cypher's suggestion of deleting trainers.json fixed it.

@Grenade: You could have also right click on the trainer in the list and then choose delete
