There is three request now, and I can verify that the trainer does not work and will cause the game to crash. Even trying to activate the trainer takes a significantly long time and can cause unresponsiveness.

First and foremost thank you for updating the trainer but I think something may be off as the game will crash when loading a screen or ending a turn when the trainer is activated (F1). Upon further inspection it seems the loaded value may be off, when I check the editor to check what is working and broken on the trainer/editor it seems the value for the items is off. The amount of "Food" is being reflected as "Iron", "Iron" as "Wood" etc... and the value listed as "Food" at least in my game is set to "1".

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

We need one more person to make a update request. Help a fellow gamer out. This and the other game I'm playing are both stuck at 2 update requests, and this trainer currently crashes the game when launched 50 percent of the time, or always when you try to use one of the trainer options. I know you all have lots of RC 🙂

Hey there,

Thanks for the trainer, and I appreciate the hard work you fellas do. I'm having a little issue however, and I want to raise it in the forum before I ask for the devs to troubleshoot it, just in case it's an issue on my end.

I've got the latest Steam version of the game, no mods, with all four DLC, but I appear to be having some problems. I have run Aurora in admin, verified the game files, reinstalled the game, checked I'm using the right trainer platform and version, as well as trying to activate the trainer in the menu (as instructed) and activating it mid-game, but it still has issues.

The first issue is that the game crashes whenever I activate on option. The trainer takes about 15 seconds to say 'activated', and then there's an immediate crash.

The second issue is almost identical to that of 'Thugjitsu' above, in that the editor doesn't edit the values it says it does, and some in-game values can't be changed at all. The "Royals or Money" and the "Orders" editor stays at 0 and edits nothing. The "Iron" editor changes the food, and "Wood" changes the iron. No option changes the wood supply, and I don't think "Research" changes anything. "Civics" and "Training" seem to be the only options that work. I have not fully tested to see if all the 'Selected Unit' values work, but I did try the "Health" editor, and it doesn't seem to work.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the issue, but the editor also gives every value an additional digit in the thousands instead of the hundreds (ie. if my Iron is at 256, the trainer lists it as 2560).

Is anybody else having issues with the editor? I'd appreciate your input.

EDIT: having talked to some people in discord, it may seem that some trainers don't work well on save games. I opened a fresh game and the trainer/numpad options worked (the one or two that I tested, anyway). Then saved that game, closed Old World, opened it back up and loaded that save, and the trainer caused the game to crash. I'm not sure if that can be solved. However, whether it was a new save or an old one, the editor is still not functioning correctly.
